TREE NEWS update: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Sept 5 that, after a call with a US presidential envoy, Ukraine is ready to stop strikes on Moscow from now until Monday, Sept 7, and hopes Russia will cease attacks on Kyiv. He confirmed a diplomatic event with the US team is set for Sept 6 in Kyiv, with substantive talks planned with US special envoys Witkoff and Kushner.
