TREE NEWS reports: Prices for AI-produced short dramas have plummeted this year as technical barriers fell and more creators entered the market. Per-minute quotes dropped from 5,000 yuan to a few hundred yuan, nearing cost, while custom productions still command 10,000-20,000 yuan per minute. Competition is shifting from volume and price to content and market reach. The domestic AI drama market is projected to exceed 40 billion yuan by 2026, up 138% year-on-year, with overseas revenue expected to top $4 billion, nearly 70% of the overseas micro-drama market.
