TREE NEWS update: Starting October 1, imports of live fresh food via the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge will be allowed 24-hour clearance, the Hong Kong Food and Environmental Hygiene Department announced today (September 7). The move aims to give the trade more flexibility in scheduling arrivals and better suit food industry operations. Clearance hours and arrangements for fresh food imports via Man Kam To control point remain unchanged.
