TREE NEWS reports: Beijing’s August existing home transactions reached 13,700 units, up 4.1% year-on-year, according to the Beijing Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Commission. New home transactions totaled 3,100 units, a 10.3% increase. The figures come a month after the city’s property optimization policies took effect on August 8, which have boosted viewings and purchase intentions.
