TREE NEWS reports: Shanghai Composite closed the morning session at 3946.99 points, up 0.36%. The Shenzhen Component gained 0.05% to 13782.05, while the ChiNext fell 0.15% to 3393.50. CSI 300 rose 0.06%, but STAR 50 dropped 0.42%. Smaller caps outperformed, with CSI 500 up 0.53% and CSI 1000 up 0.69%.
