TREE NEWS update: Ethereum core developers have included EIP-8141 (Frame Transactions) in the planned Hegotá upgrade, expected in 2027. The proposal enables one account to pay gas fees on behalf of another, allowing users to transact with stablecoins without holding ETH. It also bundles token approvals with transactions and supports changing authorization methods or adopting quantum-resistant keys without transferring assets. The proposal remains a draft and details may change before implementation.
