TREE NEWS update: Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani visited China on Sept 7-8 at Beijing’s invitation. Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said at a Sept 8 briefing that China and Qatar are strategic partners, and China attaches high importance to bilateral ties, expecting the visit to advance relations.
