Zimbabwe suspends antimony and tungsten exports to boost local processing

Zimbabwe has immediately banned exports of antimony and tungsten, including ore and concentrate shipments, as part of a government push for more domestic refining. The directive, dated July 21 and confirmed by the Ministry of Mines, was communicated in a letter from ministry secretary Thomas Wushe to the state-owned Zimbabwe Minerals Marketing Company.
