TREE NEWS reports: At US market open, the Dow fell 0.7%, S&P 500 slipped 0.1%, while Nasdaq edged up 0.1%. Qualcomm gained about 6% after securing Amazon’s AI chip order for custom chips. Intel rose about 7% on a 10% CPU price hike and plans to phase out low-margin products. Oracle added about 6%. ASML climbed about 4% as TSMC and Samsung committed to its next-gen EUV lithography.
