Wells Fargo: Fed acts when rate odds exceed 69%

Wells Fargo analysts led by Ohsung Kwon said the Federal Reserve historically acts only when market pricing for a rate move exceeds 69%, based on data since 2015. Friday’s CPI report will likely determine the central bank’s decision next week. The probability has never fallen between 38% and 69% during this period.
