Norway’s sovereign fund proposes cutting bond allocation to 50%

Norges Bank Investment Management, managing the world’s largest sovereign wealth fund, has proposed reducing government bonds’ share of its bond portfolio from 70% to 50%, with US Treasuries among the main targets for reduction. The recommendation was made in a letter to Norway’s Finance Ministry.
