OPEC Output Falls Sharply in August on Saudi Supply Constraints

OPEC crude production dropped by 900,000 barrels per day in August to an average of 19.91 million bpd, ending two months of gains, a survey showed. Saudi output fell by just over 1 million bpd, offset only slightly by increases from Iraq and Venezuela. The decline reflects disruptions from escalating US-Iran military actions.
