Israel says it destroyed Hezbollah underground site in south Lebanon, using over 1,100 tons of explosives

TREE NEWS update: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz said in a joint statement on the evening of the 10th that the Israeli military destroyed a Hezbollah underground facility beneath the Ali al-Tahir ridge in southern Lebanon that day. The IDF said more than 1,100 tons of explosives were used in the blast. The military said the network, belonging to Hezbollah’s Badr unit responsible for the area north of the Litani River, has eight tunnels totaling 5.4 km and served as the unit’s “nerve center.”
