CFTC: Natural Gas Speculative Net Shorts Across Four Major NYMEX and ICE Markets Rise to 54,416 Lots in Week Ended September 8

Data from the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) shows that in the week ended September 8, speculative net short positions in natural gas across four major markets on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) and the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) increased by 3,719 lots to 54,416 lots. The data reflects changes in speculative positioning in natural gas contracts in the aforementioned markets.
