Deepal S07 to Debut Doubao Large Model in Smart Cockpit on Sept 28

This is less a feature launch than a positioning move: Deepal is leaning on Volcano Engine's model rather than building its own assistant stack, which puts the cockpit's differentiation in the hands of a third-party AI provider. The practical test is whether One Agent as a single entry point genuinely collapses vehicle controls, navigation and chat into one interaction, or simply rebrands existing voice commands. Whether exterior voice control and voiceprint recognition ship as usable defaults, and whether other automakers follow with similar model partnerships, is the open question.
