Starcloud Secures $250M to Expand Space Data Centers, NVIDIA Invests $25M

NVIDIA contributed approximately $25 million. The funds will be used to expand satellite manufacturing facilities and advance the development of the next-generation orbital data center satellite, Starcloud-3.
From Earth to Orbit: Running H100 GPUs in Space
Starcloud claims it has already deployed NVIDIA H100 data center GPUs in orbit and successfully completed model training using them. The company is also collaborating with NVIDIA to provide test data for the future Vera Rubin Space-1 GPU, which is specifically designed for space environments.
