Fairshake Backs 32 Incumbents for 2026, Building ‘Largest Pro-Crypto Coalition’

Fairshake, the crypto industry's top super PAC, has endorsed 32 incumbent House members for 2026, including 13 Democrats and 19 Republicans. With $1 million backing for six candidates and a 53-4 primary win record, the group aims to build the largest pro-crypto coalition in U.S. history, shaping the future of digital asset regulation.

Fairshake Endorses 32 House Incumbents for 2026 Midterms

Fairshake, the crypto industry’s leading super PAC, has unveiled a new slate of 32 sitting House members it will support in the November 2026 elections, spanning 13 Democrats and 19 Republicans. Six candidates will each receive $1 million in direct backing. The list includes key committee leaders: House Financial Services Committee Chairman French Hill, senior member Bill Huizenga, and Digital Assets Subcommittee Chairman Bryan Steil on the Republican side, and Nevada’s Steven Horsford, California’s Derek Tran, and Janelle Bynum among Democrats.

A Bipartisan War Chest

The endorsements signal Fairshake’s intent to entrench a bipartisan pro-crypto bloc in Congress ahead of pivotal legislative battles. A spokesperson noted the group has now supported 53 winners out of 57 primaries, a striking win rate that underscores its growing influence. The PAC aims to assemble what it calls “the largest pro-crypto coalition in American history.”

Notably, Fairshake and an affiliated PAC founded by Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss have already spent roughly $33 million opposing Ohio Democratic Senator Sherrod Brown, a long-time crypto skeptic. That race alone demonstrates the group’s willingness to play hardball in high-stakes contests.

Implications for Crypto Regulation

The 2026 cycle will be critical for crypto policy. Key issues on the table include market structure legislation, stablecoin regulation, and tax treatment of digital assets. By backing incumbents with proven track records—such as Horsford, who helped advance a crypto tax bill—Fairshake is betting on continuity and committee seniority to push favorable bills through.

The bipartisan makeup of the list is deliberate. With 13 Democrats on board, Fairshake can argue that crypto is not a partisan issue, potentially lowering resistance in the Senate and the White House. However, the group’s aggressive spending against Brown also signals a willingness to unseat detractors, which could polarize the debate.

Forward-Looking Perspective

As the 2026 elections approach, Fairshake’s strategy will test whether crypto can sustain a durable political coalition. If successful, it could lead to clearer regulations, broader institutional adoption, and a more predictable environment for DeFi and RWA tokenization. Conversely, if the coalition fractures, regulatory uncertainty may persist, delaying innovation and investment. All eyes will be on the 32 endorsees—and the millions behind them.
