TREE NEWS reports: US stocks rebounded Wednesday after ADP reported August private payrolls grew by just 38,000, below the expected 48,000 and the weakest since January. The Dow rose 0.56%, while the S&P 500 and Nasdaq each gained 0.46%, ending a three-day losing streak. Treasury yields fell and gold rose. However, CME FedWatch still shows a 62.3% chance of a September rate hike, ahead of Friday’s official jobs report.
