TREE NEWS reports: Oman has quietly rejected Iran’s proposal to charge commercial vessels service fees in the Strait of Hormuz. The officials say Oman refused to agree to environmental and safety charges, even on a voluntary basis, contradicting claims by Iran’s Revolutionary Guard that a deal had been reached. The proposal followed talks between the two countries’ foreign ministers in Tehran.
