TREE NEWS update: China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued the 15th Five-Year Plan for the information and communication industry, setting 13 key targets for 2030, including cumulative infrastructure investment of 3.8 trillion yuan, industry revenue of 4.1 trillion yuan, and smart computing power reaching 9800 EFLOPS. The plan also aims for 50 5G base stations per 10,000 people and 95% 5G user penetration.
