TREE NEWS reports: B.AI announces limited-time free access to DeepSeek-V4-Flash, along with multiple incentives to boost its ecosystem. This move aims to attract users and developers to the platform.
B.AI Offers DeepSeek-V4-Flash Free Temporarily
AI take
Free access is a customer-acquisition play rather than a product milestone, and pairing it with ecosystem incentives suggests B.AI is competing for developer attention against better-funded inference providers. The economics only work if free usage converts into paid retention once the promotion ends, which is the metric that matters here. Whether developers build on the platform or simply route temporary workloads through it is the open question.
