Polymarket Begins Protocol V2 Rollout, November Transition Set

Contract-level overhauls are the least visible but most consequential kind of change for a prediction market: they reset assumptions about settlement, collateral handling and liquidity behavior that traders had priced in as stable. Keeping existing positions on the old system during the rollout limits immediate disruption, but it also creates a period where two architectures coexist. The open question is whether the November transition proceeds on schedule and whether market depth follows users onto the new contracts.
