TREE NEWS reports: UK 10-year gilt yield rose 0.8 basis points to 5.228% on Wednesday, touching 5.289% at 17:15 BST, the highest since 2007, before paring gains. The 2-year yield added 1.0 basis point to 4.616%, while 30-year and 50-year yields also edged up. The 2/10-year spread was roughly flat at +61.4 basis points.
