TREE NEWS update: Broadcom CEO Hock Tan said the new Google TPU chip is as good as or better than Nvidia’s Vera Rubin, as the company begins volume shipments of the next-gen TPU 8I to Google this quarter, with increased deliveries expected in Q4. Broadcom also plans to accelerate Ironwood chip shipments to Anthropic and mass-produce Meta’s custom MTIA accelerator in Q4. The company raised its fiscal 2026 AI revenue guidance to $58 billion, up 186% year-over-year.
