Anthropic upgrades Claude Code/Cowork to control Macs in background

TREE NEWS update: Anthropic has upgraded the computer-control features of Claude Cowork and Claude Code, allowing the AI to operate a user’s Mac in the background. On macOS 15 and later, Claude can perform clicks, typing, and navigation via screen interaction while the user handles other tasks, with an option for full control in settings. The feature serves both Cowork (knowledge work) and Code (development) and is currently limited to Pro and Max individual subscribers.
