US August jobs report: strong data may pressure stocks, JPMorgan says

The US August nonfarm payrolls report is due tonight, with consensus expecting 55,000 new jobs and unemployment at 4.1%. JPMorgan warns that strong data could boost bond yields and pressure stocks, as Fed Chair Warsh signaled tight policy. Goldman Sachs forecasts only 40,000 jobs, citing a cautious outlook.
