TREE NEWS update: China’s Ministry of Emergency Management deployed rescue operations on September 5 after a mudslide and landslide hit Gaoping Town, Suichuan County, Jiangxi Province. The ministry dispatched teams and equipment, including a national emergency rescue team with slope radar. Local fire services sent 41 vehicles and 224 personnel. The National Disaster Reduction Commission activated Level IV emergency responses for natural disaster and geological disaster relief.
