TREE NEWS reports: The Democratic Republic of Congo’s National Institute of Public Health reported 6,843 confirmed Ebola cases and 3,310 deaths in the current outbreak as of Sept. 10. In the past 24 hours, 86 new confirmed cases and 43 deaths were recorded, with a case fatality rate of 48.4%. Ituri province remains the outbreak’s epicenter.
