TREE NEWS update: ByteDance is set to obtain a $29.6 billion syndicated loan, up from an initial $20 billion target due to strong bank demand. The funds will be used for general corporate purposes. The deal, not yet formally signed, would become Asia’s second-largest dollar-denominated syndicated loan this year, after SoftBank’s $40 billion bridge loan in March.
