China CDC warns of rising school infectious disease risks

The National Disease Control and Prevention Administration warned on Friday that risks of school-common infectious diseases such as influenza, norovirus and hand-foot-mouth disease are rising as the new semester begins. COVID-19 cases have fallen for three consecutive weeks, while dengue and other mosquito-borne diseases remain prevalent in southern provinces.
