China stocks fall, pork shares surge; STAR50 drops 2%

Chinese equities ended lower on Monday as the benchmark Shanghai Composite fell 0.3%, Shenzhen Component dropped 0.79%, and ChiNext slipped 0.78%, with the STAR50 index losing over 2%. Pork-related stocks rallied, with New Hope, Luoniushan, and Zhenghong Technology hitting limit-up. Liquid cooling and semiconductor shares declined, with Inspur Information hitting limit-down and Hua Hong down over 8%. Turnover reached 2.05 trillion yuan, with over 2,900 stocks falling.
