TREE NEWS update: China’s Cyberspace Administration and six other ministries issued a plan to promote digital and green transformation, encouraging the use of virtual reality, artificial intelligence, and other digital intelligence technologies to innovate consumption models. The plan supports sharing economies, virtual home renovation and fitting rooms, and expands supply of AI terminals, smart wearables, green appliances, and new energy vehicles. It also promotes green e-commerce packaging and establishes green electricity consumption certification mechanisms.
