TREE NEWS update: China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has issued the 15th Five-Year Plan for the information and communication industry, which includes enhancing computing infrastructure. The plan calls for accelerating the construction of a national integrated computing network, deploying AI computing clusters of 10,000 to 100,000+ cards, and exploring forward-looking research and ecosystem cultivation for space-based computing. It also emphasizes adapting domestic AI chips and improving computing resource utilization.
