TREE NEWS update: OpenAI has released a solution to a problem related to the Navier-Stokes equations, one of the Millennium Prize Problems, which describe fluid motion. The company revealed that the breakthrough was achieved by an internal model significantly more capable than GPT-6 Astra, with a pass rate of nearly 48% on a set of selected open math problems, about three times Astra’s best performance.
