Ethena said it will halt all USDe-linked token incentives and inflation at the end of this month, after those rewards had already fallen about 85% since the first airdrop in 2024 and totaled over $750 million. The protocol also moved all remaining investor unlocks forward to Oct. 5, 2026, ending monthly vesting roughly 17 months early. ENA rose from $0.014 on Sept. 16 to near $0.28, a gain of nearly 100% in 10 days.

The Zano blockchain has been restarted at the block height immediately before Hard Fork 6, the upgrade that introduced Gateway Addresses, rolling the chain back roughly a month after an exploit tied to the feature. The restart discards all blocks produced since Gateway Addresses went live, returning the network to its pre-upgrade state.

THORChain has refused to blacklist addresses linked to the Bitget hack, drawing criticism as the exchange’s stolen funds move across the network. Separately, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin said Ethereum is evolving from a mere blockchain into a world cryptographic computer.

An onchain analyst has linked $18.4 million in memecoin extractions on Robinhood Chain to a single rug-pull operation. The creators of 10 Pons V2 launches exempted a set of wallets from Pons’ anti-sniping tax, and those wallets then bought most of each token’s supply.

Privacy blockchain Zano rolled its chain back to block height 3,833,000, undoing roughly a month of transactions, to address an inflation bug tied to Gateway Addresses that allowed unauthorized minting of its native ZANO token and the dollar-pegged stablecoin fUSD. Nodes, miners, stakers and service providers must adopt the update. Freedom Dollar said millions of dollars in project assets had been swapped into counterfeit fUSD and that it will bear the losses, asking fUSD holders to halt activity until the patched chain stabilizes.

THORChain has pushed back on Bitget’s demand that it block addresses tied to a hacker, and an address flagged by the exchange completed an XRP-to-bitcoin swap after that request. OKX’s Star Xu challenged THORChain’s comparison of its position with Bitcoin’s. The dispute centers on whether the cross-chain protocol should censor specific wallets at an exchange’s request.

A single group on Robinhood Chain has been linked to at least 53 token launch projects over the past two months, cashing out roughly $18.43 million through rug pulls, on-chain analyst Wazz found. The actual scale may be larger, and the DEED token cash-out that triggered the investigation does not rank among the group’s top ten.

On-chain analyst Wazz identified a persistent rug-pull operation on Robinhood Chain that launched at least 53 tokens over the past two months, cashing out roughly $18.43 million in total. The actual figure may be larger, and the DEED token that prompted the investigation did not even rank among the group’s top ten cash-outs.

DYORSWAP said it has finished reviewing addresses affected by a scam tied to a fake GIWA mainnet and will reimburse those who bridged in less than 5 ETH at a 40% rate. Addresses that bridged more than 5 ETH, some of which appear to involve phishing or fraudulent bridge activity, will be reviewed separately. Payouts go to 0xdf25f88aa6cde9937fdcfcf10fa349528c79dbf9, and DYORSWAP stressed it will never ask users to transfer funds or pay fees.

Polygon co-founder Sandeep Nailwal said the POL community has burned 100 million POL, about 1% of total supply, accumulated from on-chain revenue, with roughly 25 million more POL still being accumulated for burning. He also said Polymarket has launched perpetual contracts on Polygon, and that upcoming upgrades could bring 1-millisecond block confirmation via block streaming. OMS is set to add about 1 million daily transactions of capacity to Polygon.

DyorSwap said the network it had previously identified as the “GIWA mainnet” was in fact a fake chain set up by scammers, who used the correct GIWA chain ID 9134 to appear legitimate during initial verification. The fraudulent bridge caused significant losses. DyorSwap is hiring a security team for on-chain tracing, preserving evidence including chats, RPC details, bridge addresses and transactions, and preparing to compensate affected users from its treasury; eligibility and loss-verification rules will follow the investigation. Users were told not to use any unofficial GIWA mainnet RPC, bridge or contract.

THORChain responded to criticism from on-chain tracking platform MistTrack that it has repeatedly been used to move funds stolen from exchanges including Bybit and Bitget, saying it is a decentralized, permissionless protocol like Bitcoin, Ethereum and BNB Chain. The project asked what responsibility those chains should bear when they process known stolen funds. Bitget’s CEO had earlier called on THORChain to refuse service to attacker addresses.
